Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark
Centrally located in the hear t of Boyne Mountain Resort, this exciting waterpark is open year-round.   At 88,000 square feet, Avalanche Bay is the largest indoor waterpark in Michigan.   What makes this indoor waterpark so great is the wide variety of attractions it has to offer everyone in your family.  There are five exciting waterslides, a children’s pool, adventurous wet climbing wall, relaxing hot tubs, Rip Zone surf simulator, Splasherhorn Mountain, and a variety of other unique waterpark attractions plus an arcade filled with hundreds of games and the Snack Shack and Apres Ski Pub.

Downhill Skiing/Snowboarding
Northern Michigan’s snow season typically begins at Thanksgiving and runs through early-mid April.  Thanks to Boyne’s patented snowmaking ability, they are able to kick off and extend the season when Mother Nature is not a supporter.  Night skiing/riding is offered on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from December 26th through the third Friday in March.

Cross Country Skiing
The Boyne Nordic Center is located on Boyne Mountain Road and trail passes are available for purchase.  In addition to the 35 km of groomed, track set, scenic, and safe trails for both traditional and skating techniques, there is instruction available, and rental equipment and cross country apparel/equipment for purchase.

SnowSports Academy
For downhill skiing and snowboarding lessons, inquire at the SnowSports Academy located in the Civic Center.  For cross country lessons contact Boyne Nordican Center.

Disc Golf
This unique 18 hole mountainside course meanders down the slopes of Boyne Mountain.  Access the first hole, which is located at the top, by chairlift or shuttle service.

Ice Skating
A maintained rink is located just outside Stein Eriken’s Restaurant and is open daily in the winter season, weather permitting.

Solace Spa at Boyne Mountain has over 18,000 sq.ft. of state of the art facilities.  Named one of the “Best Spas in the World” by Spa Magazine it is Michigan’s premier destination spas.  It ‘s relaxed and luxurious surroundings feature soothing whirlpools, cedar saunas, purifying steam rooms, indoor/outdoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness and training facilities, and inspiring menu of spa treatments and a luxurious salon.

Watercraft, Boat and Snowmobile Rentals
Rental is available for a variety of personal watercraft, pontoon, fishing, sail and kayak boats.  Snowmobile rentals during the winter months are also available with access to over 500 miles of trails.

Zipline Adventure and Twin Zip
The Zipline Adventures will take your breath away.  Enjoy the thrill of racing your friends and family on the side by side lines of the Twin Zip or choose the relaxed pace of the Zipline Adventure Tour.  These guided tours begin at the top of the mountain and allow you to soar on a series of lines, over slopes and through trees, as you descend back to the base area.  Both are for all ages.

Fishing, Horseback Riding and More 
In addition there is horseback riding, bike paths and mountain biking, tennis, scenic chairlift rides, fly fishing, pond fishing, Nike Junior golf camp, Fritz’s Adventure camp, Wakeboard camp, Boyne Tennis Academy, Yoga By The Bay, Dinner theater and horse drawn wagon or sled rides (depending on the amount of snow).  With all there is to do at Boyne Mountain you will want to check with our helpful staff to make sure you don’t miss any of the exciting activities going on.
