McKinley Creekside Cabins offers a FREE tour booking for ALL visitors to Denali National Park. The knowledge and first hand experience of McKinley Creekside Cabin's staff will help you decide how to get the most out of your trip to Denali. They recommend that you plan 2-3 days in Denali Park to enjoy all the park has to offer and it's distance to and from other destinations.

Kayak Tour:  IK’s (inflatable kayaks) are easy to learn, durable, lightweight, forgiving and high performance whitewater boats. First-time kayakers as well as those with experience can have fun paddling in class II & III rapids with guidance, instruction and support from a knowledgeable and professional guide. A moderate level of physical fitness is strongly recommended. Jet boat Wilderness Safari Tour:  Denali River Safaris invite travelers to visit the "REAL ALASKA". This family run business and their "staff" of friends and family showcase and share their world with you. They are dog mushers, trappers, gold miners, craftsmen, and hunting guides. This experience takes travelers by jet boat miles into the wilderness to the camp where these locals make their living. Once at camp they will demonstrate the activities that keep them busy in this magnificent place. Duration: Approximately 2 ½ hours; Rate: Adult-$119/Child (11 & under) -$79; Times: 8am, 10pm, 2pm, & 6pm.

Traveling along old coal mine and ATV trails, your adventure begins with two breathtaking 360° overlooks that provide views of the northern flanks of the Alaska Range, Mt. Healy, Otto Lake and the surrounding Healy Valley. Wildlife are often sighted along the way. Then ride down to the creek bed, where you spend time splashing through the water (weather dependent). Tours depart daily. Length: 2 1/2 hours from pick-up to drop-off; Approx. 10 miles round trip. Times: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm,5pm, 7pm, 9pm

Stampede Trail “Into the Wild” Adventure :  Go “Into the Wild” traveling far down the same rugged trail as 24-year old Chris McCandless, subject of the best-selling book and movie. This unforgettable adventure goes much farther than any other tour in the area, stopping just a couple of miles from the fast-flowing Teklanika River that prevented McCandless from returning alive. Also, this tour provides you with a fascinating discussion of McCandless’ fatal journey, numerous viewpoints of McKinley, wildlife viewing and a memorable campfire meal. Length: 4 hours from pick-up to drop-off; Approx. 20 miles round trip. Times: 9:30 & 5:30 pm

Midnight Sun Adventure:  Looking for something truly Alaskan? Here you go! Travel to two breathtaking overlooks to view the unique and memorable Midnight Sun as it creates a rainbow of sunset colors. Wildlife is often sighted along the way. After a snack and hot chocolate, you then ride down to the creek bed where you spend about 15-20 minutes splashing through the water (weather dependent). Tour offered May 30 - July 12 only.lLength: 2 1/2 hours from pick-up to drop-off. Approx. 10 miles round trip.

Denali Ridge Adventure: Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with the time and desire to get deep into the Alaskan bush surrounding Denali National Park. Lasting about 4 hours, this adventure consists of a wide variety of trail conditions including stream crossings, boggy marshes, bouncy tree-root rutted trails and steep hill-climbing. Wildlife sightings are likely. This tour includes a snack and beverage.  Note: Tour availability is weather and trail dependent. Length: 4 1/2 hours from pick-up to drop-off; Approx. 18 miles round trip; Times: 9 am (may not be offered every day).

Mountain Bike Tours: This guided tour offers a relatively remote Alaskan experience with a view of Mt. McKinley on a clear day. Spectacular views of mountains, valleys and lakes will inspire riders while biking near Denali National Park. The guide will support and interpret while allowing guests the freedom to explore independently. This is a moderate ride for those with basic skills and reasonable fitness. Age 10+; Van shuttle, mountain bike, helmet, and water bottle are all inclusive.

KANTISHNA AIR TAXI: You will be taken on a journey through the gently rising terrain, past numerous kettle ponds, upward to the base of Denali (Mt. McKinley). The 60-minute flight provides fantastic views of the enormous glaciers, towering granite walls and snow-covered peaks that enshrine North America’s greatest mountain. If weather conditions allow, you will circumnavigate the entire massif.

Golfing:  In the Midnight Sun-Rugged 9-Hole Golf : The Black Diamond Golf course offers a unique golfing experience high in the mountains of Alaska next to a serene mountain lake. Wildlife abounds at this rugged links-like 9-hole golf course. Enjoy a relaxing environment, fresh mountain air and spectacular panoramic scenery.
