Hike past the nation’s most beautiful waterfalls, old–growth forest, sheer cliffs, stunning narrow creek gorges and sublime views of the Columbia River. Explore the enchanting waterfalls, including the grand Multnomah Fall and Wahclella Falls. A mile–long hiking trail takes you to the peak of Beacon Rock, an 800–foot geological structure formed from an ancient volcano, and rewards you with a spectacular wonderful view of the Columbia River Gorge.

Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge offers – Seasonal hiking trails through a habitat of waterfowl and wetland wildlife. The magnificent William O. Douglas Wilderness includes 25 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, over 60 other hiking trails and 59 lakes. When permitted, the hiking trails around Mount St. Helens offers dramatic views of the most volatile volcano in the country.
